Research Project
At the end of fourth semester, students are required to prepare a research report after conducting research. 100 marks shall be assigned to the report comprising of 70 percent marks in report writing and 30 percent marks in viva-voce.
Eligibility Criteria
MBM program is open to both Nepali and Non-Nepali citizens who have completed bachelor degree (15 years formal education) in any discipline or master degree in any discipline having at least a second division or marks secured minimum 2 CGPA. The applicant student must meet the following minimum criteria for the MBM Program.
Admission Procedure
After completing admission form and submitting required certificates of previous degrees, one has to participate in a series of screening tests, viz., written, group discussion, individual presentation, and personal interview. Based on these tests, a merit list shall be produced for admission
Students applying for the MBM program must fill in the online application form with all details of their personal information and past academic records. The selection of students shall be based on a three-stage screening process that includes written test, individual presentation and personal interview. The admission committee of SMC will apply four stage procedure for the selection of MBM Students.
Written CMAT Test:
FOM shall conduct a Central Management Admission Test (CMAT) that will test the basic ability of the students in verbal ability and quantitative ability. The test shall be based on the GMAT and GRE format.
Group Discussion
A group discussion will be carried out in a given topic. The performance of the candidate will be evaluated by panel of experts. The general criteria of marking will be leadership, logic, presentation and conclusion presented by the student in the topic.
Individual Presentation
The student should present their view on specified topic by panel of experts and judges. The logic, presentation procedure, contextual and content analysis and methods of presentation will be the basic criteria of the individual interview.
Personal Interview
Personal interview will be conducted to measure students’ enthusiasm, attitudes, aptitude and their commitment for the final selection.

Library
SMC has a state of the art library with a wide range of books. It’s a home to enthusiastic and voracious readers who wish to do research and widen their intellectual horizon. SMC has the e-library system with multiple databases and online e-books which is convenient for today’s techno savvy system of learning.
Computer Lab and Multimedia Based Systems
SMC has managed a well-equipped computer lab with adequate number of computers with all essential software facilities. Research and Presentations are the integral parts the study. To facilitate students for their brilliant presentation, SMC has provided the adequate number of multimedia projects. Multimedia project is installed in all class room of SMC. Four Computer labs are available at Campus for teaching, learning and practicing.
